Bitcoin got rejected at $87k yearly open again and the majors drifted lower as the US10 year yield climbed above 5.2% for the first time since 2007 and traders priced in another Fed hike for October. That still didn’t slow down the inflows: the spot Bitcoin ETFs took in $2.4B for their biggest week since last October.

Solana has overtaken every other chain in volume with Stonk and Pump bringing in a ton of it, the UsePaid meta took over the timeline (and got blacklisted), and Robinhood has cooled down a bit with all eyes on HOOD Summit.

Bitcoin tested $87.3k twice and got rejected and then, lost $84k within a day after a hot PMI reading and a hawkish Fed speech sent the 10 year yield to its biggest one day jump since April 2025. The odds of another hike at the October 28 meeting peaked near 71% on Thursday, and Bitcoin still has not traded below $82.5k.

Solana held up best while the SOL ETFs took in a record $188M on the week, and HYPE has been sliding since its Binance spot listing on Thursday. PCE lands this Wednesday and the jobs report on Friday.

Solana did about $18B of DEX volume last week, nearly double Robinhood Chain and more than Ethereum and Base combined, and it has been the top chain every day since September 6. Stonk and Pump are bringing in a ton of it, coins launched on pump.fun and StonkFun made up about a third of everything traded on Solana by Jupiter's count.

Pump had the bigger week, its bonding curves did $211M on Saturday for their biggest day since May 2025 as the UsePaid meta took off, and by Monday Pump was earning more than Hyperliquid over seven days. StonkFun cooled off, its daily revenue slid from $1.6M last Tuesday to $0.5M on Sunday and $STONK is down more than 40% from its ATH.

UsePaid is built on top of Pump, Kraken's API and the new X Money wallet feature to try and "onboard" users. Anyone can launch a coin on pump.fun paired to any X handle, and the idea is that 80% of the creator fees get converted to dollars and paid into that account's X Money with no signup needed while the other 20% buys and burns $PAID.

$e/acc started the meta on Friday, someone launched it in @beffjezos's name seconds after he posted that X payouts are his only funding, and two hours later he shared his X Money balance at $32,745 after seven payouts he never asked for. $e/acc ran to about $30M in under ten hours and $PAID went from about $10M to above $50M.

UsePaid paused X Money payments on Sunday and on Monday moved new claims to a portal on its own site that pays mostly in SOL, with X Money off until further notice. $PAID lost more than 40% within minutes and the timeline is calling it a blacklist. X has not said anything publicly, and UsePaid says the older balances are safe in X Money and that it is waiting on a green light from X Money's team to pay them out.

Robinhood has cooled down a bit, DEX volume on Robinhood Chain fell 13% to $9.7B and the weekend brought its first days under $1B since late August. There are dips across the board, $PONS, $AI and $INDEX are all down more than 25% since the last issue, $MEME and $MOO more than 15%, and $HOOD itself slid from $124 to $116.

All eyes are on HOOD Summit tho. Vlad's keynote streams from Houston on Tuesday, September 29 at 5:30 PM CT, Robinhood is promising new technology and trading tools for active traders, and last week's tease that something is coming to Stock Tokens is still unanswered.
