gmgm, welcome back!

Another eventful week in crypto. Will US Clarity act pass before congress goes for recess? Uniswap might be entering the launchpad game and thesisfi becoming a real thing?

Huge week for the gg feed: 241 posts were made about 181 tokens across 4 chains, another ATH in new signups and traders joined the gg network. In terms of chains, Robinhood Chain still dominated with a short spike in posts about Solana coins, mainly memes and tokenized stock projects trying to capitalize on the hype created by RH chain.

📊 Market Outlook

  • Bitcoin slipped to $63.8k, down about 2%. Still crabbing, probably waiting for a verdict on the Clarity Act vote in the US senate this week.

  • Ethereum gave last week's gains at $1,867, down about 4%.

  • Solana down $74, down about 3%, affected by attention and liquidity being vamped by RH Chain.

  • HYPE still going down at $54, down about 5%. Facing competition from a growing number of Prep Dex protocols and Lighter supported by Robinhood.

🏛️ The CLARITY Act goes to the wire

The CLARITY Act is the market structure bill that finally draws the line between the SEC and CFTC and gives onchain tokens a real legal lane, and it has already cleared the House and the Senate Banking Committee. The catch is the timing, no floor vote is scheduled yet, 60 votes are needed, and recess starts August 10th, so it either goes to vote in the next four days or it goes into limbo till 2027. Polymarket odds on the bill passing fell to 30% down from 43% a week ago.

There are still unconfirmed rumours of the bill going to vote this Friday, but we’ll wait for a real confirmation.

Stonkbroker has been unstoppable on RH

$Stonkbroker hit a new ATH this week ticking up to 47M FDV. The launcher was delayed but the team has been shipping a new feature almost every other day, starting with Broker Box an onchain gacha that gives tokenized stock certificates. ‘Clock In 2.0’ now allows brokers to target the stocks they want to receive.

Next up is Stonk Launcher, the collectively owned launchpad we covered last week, now in countdown mode: fixed price, bonding curve or fully custom launches, LP fees flowing back to stakers, and launcher fees funding more stock drops for holders.
